What is a Blue and Gold Banquet?
A blue and gold banquet is a birthday dinner for the Cub Scouting program, held during February. The anniversary month of the Boy Scouts of America, which was organized in February 1910. The Cub Scouts was organized 20 years later in 1930.
Rick C. Entertainment will be providing DJ services as he has for the past few years. Their will be music, games, and many activities that Rick the DJ provides. Each Den will also have something prepared that pertains to the theme of the Blue & Gold Dinner.
This year, Baiting Hollow Scout Camp will provide the food for the Blue & Gold Banquet. A sample menu is attached below.
This year there will be no crossing over ceremony for the Arrow of Light Award as all of our Webelos will cross over at next year's ceremony. There will be awards given out to each den including their rank badges that they have earned this year.
The banquet facility that we will use this year is located at the Baiting Hollow Scout Camp in Calverton, NY. See directions below.
Tickets are $18 per adult and $15 per child and can be purchased below via paypal. Please purchase your tickets early so we can get an accurate count for the Banquet facility.
